Well it's hard to believe another Christmas has come and gone already. It was another super season in the Tap. It all started for us on our Customer night which was a great success with Kenny Cunningham, our former soccer international even singing for us.
It's a hard time of the year for our staff as it is so busy and they all have to work when everyone else is out enjoying themselves. For this reason i want to pay my staff a huge debt of gratitude and wish them all a super new year and thanks again for making the Tap the huge success that it is.
We have many things planned for 2008. On 23rd Febuary we are heading to Croke Park for the Ireland V Scotland 6 nations match. Seats are very limited for this day out so let me know asap if you would like to travel. If it is half as good as last year it will be some day out.
Myself and Mark Plunkett of Blue Sky Mortgages are planning a super promotion. We are going to be running a competition that the winners will win a trip to see Sunderland v Arsenal in the last match of the season. It is a huge game as it could very easily be Sunderland needing to win to stay in the Premiership and it could be Arsenal needing to win to win the Premiership. We will have six tickets available and the winners will get return flights, 4 star accomodation and box tickets in the Stadium Of Light. Watch this space for details.
We will be hosting a Valentines weekend promotion,Paddys week beerfest, the Phoennix will be here and of course the Fleadh is on it's way again not to mention numerous other festival weekends to keep all our valued customers entertained throughout the year .
All in all it plans to be another super year at the Tap and believe me we intend to make it just that.....Thanks a million for all your support in 2007 and we look forward to another great year this year. I apologise for the delay in updating my blog but we had a few technical prolems that are now resolved. I will keep ye posted regularly to futher events and news..Talk soon, Paul.
